A Cup of Thanks

So, do  you ever want to have a reverse image? The cup image has the handle on the right, but what if you want the handle on the left side? I’m going to show you how you can do it.

You can see here that I stamped the cup 3 times, twice with the stamp the way it comes, and once on my Silicone Mat. You then flip the mat onto your Whisper White cardstock and rub the image. It transfers to the Whisper White cardstock, and its going the opposite way. Pretty cool, right? That’s how easy it is.

Ok, you need to start with a Garden Green card base, 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″. You then need a piece of Whisper White, 4″ x 4″. That layer you are going to spritz with your Stampin’ Spritzer filled with a couple of drops of White Shimmer Paint, Pool Party re-inker (not Bermuda Bay, sorry) and rubbing Alcohol. Shake it up and spritz your cardstock. Let it dry, or use your Heat Tool. While that is drying you can get all the other elements ready.

You want to stamp 3 cups onto Tis the Season dsp and fussy cut the middle of the cups and add your Whisper White cups.

Now I’m sure you are wondering how did I cut the handle so perfectly? Use your 1/4″ handheld punch. I know its retired, but I bet you kept yours. I have to admit this wasn’t my idea, and now I can’t remember who did this, but what a fabulous idea it is!

Your cups are all ready to add to the Whisper White piece. You need to die cut a couple of snowflakes from the So Many Snowflakes Dies.  I set the cups how I wanted them to be and tucked the snowflakes behind, then went back and glued them with Tombow. The cups all have Dimensionals on the back. Make sure you leave enough room for the sentiment.

I cut another 4″ x 4″ piece of Whisper White and die cut a snowflake out then adhered to the inside. I finished off with a few Wonderful Gems. One tip I can give you it, make sure you use a lot of adhesive for the top piece that you spritzed. It was wet and its probably not flat. I would add adhesive all the way around. I didn’t and you can see where I didn’t add adhesive.Supply List:
