A Paper Pumpkin Thing, Giftable Greetings

So excited to be with you again this month for Alternative ways to use your Paper Pumpkin Kits. This really helps me think out of my box.

My first alternative is simple, just turn your card around, from Portrait to Landscape. I covered up the loops with flowers and leaves. Easy, right?

Oh, almost forgot, I “winked” my flowers and leaves with Wink of Stella.

Why not make your card base into a candy holder?

Take one of the card bases and cut off the white part. Then cut at 2″, you will have a left over piece that is 2 1/4″. Just cut that 1/4″ off and now you have two candy holders. Score at 2 5/8″ & 2 7/8″. Use a corner round on one end and the Scalloped Tag Topper on the other end.

Make up your tag that comes in the kit.

Put your Ghiradelli Chocolate inside and wrap the Baker’s Twine that is also in the kit around twice and tie a bow. To add the flower to the center of the bow, I took a Dimensional and cut in half. Added each half to flower and placed over the bow. Make sense? This way the flower sits flat over the bow.

  1. Love your projects! Thanks for sharing the details on the chocolate holders 😀 Those little die cut flowers are just the right size for those, aren’t they?

  2. I did the same thing when putting my kit together – turned some of the cards the other way. I really love the little candy holders. Fun little treats for sure! I see these in my future.

  3. I’m always looking for a new way to wrap some chocolate squares. So cute Cindee!
