If you saw my blog post yesterday, you know we used the same stamp set. This time we took it up a notch. We’ve got a Dapper Denim card base and added a few more details.
First you will need to sponge the top of the card with Dapper Denim Ink and a sponge. Kind of gives it a Ombre look.
The Snowflakes are from the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits. After die cutting them with Shimmery White Paper we cut them apart and adhered to the top of the card with the Fine-Tip glue pen.
We adhered the houses the same way as my card yesterday, but with a twist. We put cardstock and Designer Series Paper behind a few. The Painted Autumn Designer Paper works great for this. Makes it look like someone is home. We also sponged with Pool Party. Then we added some Embossing Paste to make the snow 3-Dish. Is that a word? LOL
TIP: See how the church steeple goes up into the second layer of houses? You need to use this set of houses to have enough room so your steeple isn’t on one of the houses. Make sense?
