Isn’t the sentiment on this card great? You could use this for a birthday, graduation, promotion, anniversary and I’m sure more. I’ve paired this card with the Band Together Stamp Set & Detailed Bands Dies, (you can get the bundle and save 10%). We are also using the Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards & Tins.
Start with adding a piece of Rococo Rose cardstock, 4 1 /8″ x 5 3/8″. Add just a little Tombow on the inside edges of the card to adhere this piece. Next I added a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock, cut at 1 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and I used my Banner Tripe Punch to do each end. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black in the center. I added the frame using one of the dies in the Detailed Bands Dies with So Saffron cardstock. Use a little bit of Tombow to adhere. Stamp the flower onto Very Vanilla cardstock with Memento Black Ink and color in with So Saffron & Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends. Believe me when I say these Blends are easy to work with. I am no expert at coloring, but I feel when I have a small item to color I can be successful. And really, there isn’t a right or wrong way to color, its totally up to you. Both of these Blends are new to our collection. Die cut the flower and the leaves. I stamped the flower onto Whisper White Cardstock, and then realized that I should have used Very Vanilla. So I cut the flower even closer than the die did, so I didn’t have to re-do it. That way I didn’t have any white edges.
I added a small piece of the Scalloped Linen Thread with Glue Dots and then added the flower on Dimensionals. I tucked the leaves under the flower with a Glue Dot.
I hope you give these products a try. I will be using them a lot. The dies are amazing and that card base, I have no words. My Stamp Club gals will be making this card along with 3 other cards (will be sharing this week) on Tuesday night.
