Roses on a Snowflake Ornament

I wanted a spectacular tag for this gift, for a special person in my life. I tied up the package with Jute Twine that I had left over from last years Holiday Catalog. Its long retired, but it was perfect for my gift.

The Snow is Glistening and Snowfall Thinlits are only available until November 30th (or while supplies last), so I knew I wanted to use that big snowflake. I die cut it 4 times, once with Gold Foil (it matched my wrapping paper) and 3 times from Garden Green Cardstock, (it also matches my paper). I carefully glued each layer together ending up with the Gold Foil Snowflake on top. I used Tombow Adhesive, a little goes a long way.

Next I die cut the Stitched Labels, one of the large labels, and two of the circles (all in the Stitched Labels set) in Cherry Cobbler. Directions for these flowers are on this post.

Before I spritzed Champagne Shimmer paint and Rubbing Alcohol on the flowers I sponged the flowers with Cherry Cobbler Ink. Use hot glue to attach the flowers. The leaves are also from the Snowfall Thinlits. I just tucked them under the flowers along with the sentiment. I added a Linen Thread bow, and used Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine from the Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine. Sadly this is no longer available, but you could also use Linen Thread or Nature’s Twine.
