Unfortunately I have two friends that have lost pets this past week. This is my “cat” version. I will share my “dog” version later (haven’t finished it yet). They will be the same, except I will use the Dog Builder Punch.
I started out with a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock, 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″. Then I took regular Whisper White cardstock, and punched the Cat out several times. I also punched one of the cats using the 2019-2021 In Color dsp. Since Dottie was a girl, she needed a pink card, right? I should add that Dottie lived to be 22 years (I think it was 22, I know it was over 20) old. I’ve never heard of a pet that lived to be that age before.
I placed the pink cat first (with Dimensionals) and stamped the sentiment from Happy Tails in Black Memento Ink. Then I did a “dry” run to see where all the cats should be placed. After that I added my Dimensionals to each one and set them in place. Next you will trim off the cats that are over the edge. Fill in with the little hearts which are from the Dog Builder Punch. And you know me, no card is complete without a little Wink of Stella. I “winked” the hearts.
I did get this idea from Pinterest. What would I/we do without Pinterest? Darn, I forgot to put a Linen Thread bow on the Gingham kitty…..
