Candy Corn Treat Holder

Isn’t this a fun Treat Holder? I saw this holder on Raquelle Batth’s blog a while back. Its so simple to make. I found the candy at my local grocery store in the bulk section. I only bought enough for one treat. Probably could have used a few more pieces.

Start with a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock, 3″ x 11″ and score at, 4, 6, & 10.  I used a 1″ x 3″ piece of Purple Posy DSP for the top fold. I really wanted to use the Purple Tricolor Ribbon. I just tied it in a bow and attached with a couple of Glue Dots. The Spooktacular Bash Bundle was perfect for the Open if you dare sentiment with the die cut frame. I just cut it in half and attached to back of sentiment.

The Happy Halloween is from the Wonderfully Wicked Stamp Set.

To make the candy corn, cut 3, 1/2″ x 3″ strips of whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, & Daffodil Delight cardstock, layer them onto another piece of Whisper White. Make your template, trace and cut out. I set it on my Silicone Mat and used the Fine Tip Glue Pen to coat the whole thing.

I think these treat holders would work for any holiday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Birthday and more. Plus they are easy to make and don’t take a lot of cardstock.
