Painted Harvest CASE (Copy & share everything)

I received the card on the right from Patty Bennett. She sends cards to all top 15 in her downline for sales. I needed one more card for my Card Class last week and thought, hmmmmm, I’m going to case Patty. I changed a couple of things, but the layout is basically the same. I loved how Patty used the “burlap” stamp, it gives the card a lot of texture without all the bulk. So…

Big on Birthdays

It’s that time again, for the Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge. This week its Birthdays. My niece has a birthday this month. Perfect! I haven’t used the Big on Birthday stamp set much, so decided to dust it off and use it. I stamped the sentiment (& flowers) on Watercolor Paper with Black Archival Ink. I have to say I didn’t get a real good image and ended up using my Project Life Journaling Pens (they…

Grown with Love Watering Can

This is a fun fast card and another Patty and I did together. I love that there are Framelits that match and makes it so easy. The card base is Fresh Fig and that strip of Designer Paper is from the Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper Pack. I used the Lots of Labels (largest one) Framelits. The watering can is stamped with Smoky Slate onto Thick Whisper White cardstock, as well as the flowers. I…

Grown with Love, Fun Fold

The last time Patty and I got together, this is one of the cards I designed.  This one has a fun fold. This bundle is awesome. (You can save 10% if you purchase the bundle). So this one is more like an pocket with a card insert. Start with a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock and cut, 4 1/4″ x 9 1/2″. Score 4 3/4″ on short side, and 1/4″ on each side of the…

One in a Melon, Paper Pumpkin Alternative Blog Hop

I am excited to be part of the Paper Pumpkin Alternative Blog Hop again this month. The One in a Melon kit is one of my favorites. This is what I came up with. I will tell you, it was hard for me to cut apart one of the bags, but worth it for this card. Here is how I made the “watermelon” slice. Easy Peasy with your Layering Circles. Its important to add the…

Happy Birthday Jen & Courtney

Last week, my daughter Jen & my future Daughter-in-law Courtney both celebrated birthdays. A gift card from Vicky’s and a bottle of yummy lotion was in order. Then how to wrap……. They go perfect inside this hand towel. I’ve used a hand towel before. It works great for a bottle of wine too. The tags I made were super simple. I used the largest Circle of the Stitched Shapes Framelits that I did a bit…

Happy Birthday Gorgeous!

I LOVE the name of this stamp set, it coordinates with the Happy Birthday Thinlits and you can purchase as a bundle and save 10%. The Thinlits die cut so easily too.  I cased this card from Pinterest, changed it up a bit to make it my own. This is another card my Stamp Club Gals will be making next month. You can see I’ve done 3 cards using different colors from the Color Theory…

Tranquil Tulips, Patty’s Birthday Card & Gift

Yesterday was Patty’s birthday and we celebrated early going to Benihana’s for dinner with her family last week.  We had a wonderful meal and even better company. This is the gift I wrapped (gift card for Brighton, her favorite place to shop) for her and card. Tranquil Tulips is one of my favorite Hostess sets. I love how the 2-step stamps make the tulips jump off the page. I got fancy and stamped the card,…

SUO, “Focus on Masculine”

Time for another Stampin’ Up! Challenge. You know how hard “man” cards are for me……But I had this idea in my head about making the pen have a wood looking barrel. Look what I came up with. I also haven’t played with this new paper, Wood Textures. Its perfect for “man” cards. This is a 6″ x 6″ Paper Stack available on June 1st, along with the Crafting Forever stamp set. I told you I…
