Remarkable You Christmas Card

Who knew that Remarkable You stamp set could be used for a Christmas Card? I didn’t until I saw a card by Clare McDonald on Facebook. I always forget that we can stamp on our Designer Paper. For this card I used the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper and stamped with Memento Black Ink, then colored with my Cherry Cobbler & Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. After coloring the flowers and leaves I layered it…

Acetate Treat Holder

You know that I can’t get enough of these Acetate boxes made into a treat box. Before you put the box together cut in half. Then I embossed one side with the Winter Wonder Embossing Folder.  Wrap a 1″ piece of Designer Series Paper around the box. I used the Be Merry Designer Paper. Finished it off with some Red Mini Tinsel Trim & one of the Mini Ornaments and the snowflake from Trim Your…

Fun Fold Quilted Christmas

This is the perfect card to put a gift card inside. It uses the Add a Little Glitz stamp set. This is a super quick card to put together. See below for all the measurements. This is one of the projects we made last month at the Luv 2 Stamp meeting. We also used the Stitched Felt Embellishments and colored the Pearls with the Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends. Did you know that the Lemon Lime…

Fun Fold Gift Card

This is one of the projects we did at the the Luv2stamp meeting a couple of weeks ago. Its such a fun way to give a gift card. It features the Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper & the Merry Cafe Stamp set. I think this is genius, we cut the coffee lid in Glossy Paper. So real looking. The inside has a little pocket with the matching Designer paper, so clever. Thanks Patty Bennett!Cutting…

Pining for Plaid, October’s Paper Pumpkin

I think Stampin’ Up! has knocked it out of the park with this kit. Who doesn’t like/love shaker cards? And look at how fun the box is. These shaker cards are so fast to put together. Everything you need is in the box. Here is the second card. All you need to do is stamp the greeting for this one. Check out the video from Stampin’ Up! Its not too late to get this months…

Merry Patterns, Again!

This really is such a fun set. How cute is a deer with a sweater? I love the Quilted Christmas Suite. It works perfect for this stamp set. We’ve got the Stitched Felt Embellishments & the Quilted Christmas Ribbon in the right corner & the branched below the deer. I used Dimensionals to attach the Stitched Felt Embellishment. The sentiment is stamped in Cherry Cobbler and added with Dimensionals as well. You could say this…

For my card today I FINALLY used some of the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper. What makes it a “specialty” paper do you ask? Its lightweight. Christmas Quilt Treat Holders

Oh my goodness! Aren’t these adorable? Patty found them on Pootle’s blog. They are so easy to make. We used the Quilted Christmas 6 x6 Paper Stack. You only need 4″ x 6″ to make the treats, so this paper stack is perfect. And you can put all sorts of candy, pencils or even Wink of Stella (2 of them fit inside perfectly). We prettied them up with the matching Stitched Felt Embellishments and the…

Smitten Mittens

This is another Patty creation. Smitten Mittens can be found on page 38 of the Holiday Catalog. I didn’t think I needed the Marbled background stamp (you can find it on page 165 of the Annual Catalog)……what was I thinking, of course I need. Thank you Patty for being my “enabler”. LOL Doesn’t’ it look like the same image you get when you use shaving cream? So much less mess. The top layer was first…
