Gourd Goodness

What a fun name for a stamp set. I originally bought this set because of the beautiful leaves, but look at these gorgeous pumpkins. Its a two step stamp with both pumpkins. At first when I stamped the solid image, I thought, you really don’t need the 2nd stamp…….boy was I wrong. It totally makes the pumpkin “pop”. Then I “winked” it with Wink of Stella. The stems each have two stamps too. I am…

Painted Harvest, Patty’s Way

Isn’t this card beautiful? This one was designed by Patty. Its got 6 layers but still a simple design. We started off with a Whisper White card base (you could use the new Thick Very Vanilla too). The flowers were stamped on Whisper White using Daffodil Delight for the first color, then Crushed Curry to add the highlights. The inside of the flowers are Early Espresso as well as the sentiment. We fussy cut the…

At Home With You

I made this card for a co-worker of my husbands. They just signed papers on their house, and I knew this would be the perfect stamp set to use. I asked hubby, what does their front door look like? What color is their door? Of course he couldn’t remember (he fixed their a/c), so I decided to go with the green brick (not sure why I chose green), using the Embossing Paste with Pear Pizzazz…

Simple Painted Harvest Card

This is another card we will make in my Stamp Club Class on September 5th. The Painted Harvest stamp set is amazing to use. Its a two step stamp. My first layer is Daffodil Delight, then Crushed Curry. The center of the flower is Soft Suede. You will notice that I’m only stamping half of the flower. Start in the center and then do the one on top and bottom. Mine aren’t perfectly centered, but…

Glossy Paper Leaves

Here I go again, back to the Glossy Paper and Re-inkers. Watch my video HERE. This technique just screams FALL! don’t you think? On the other cards I did, I used a big piece and and then die cut. This time I die cut the leaves from Seasonal Layers Framelits and then used the re-inkers and water to spread the ink. Before the ink dried, I laid the cut out leaf (skeleton leaf) onto the…

Beach Scene on Glossy Paper

Patty and I were at it again. I will be sharing all of these cards in the next week or so. First up is our Beach Scene. I will say that stamping on Glossy Paper takes a bit of practice. As you can see in this first card, I smeared the ink in several places. You have to be careful, stamp, then lift straight up. It dries pretty quickly and I really love the results.…

Lovely Friends

Good Friends are hard to Find! Yes they are. I love a stamp set that has the large sentiments. You really don’t have to do a whole lot to finish your card. You can see I stamped the sentiment in Lemon Lime Twist and layered that onto a piece of the 2017-2019 In Color Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack and then onto my card base. Then I stamped the flowers in Fresh Fig &…

Focus on Feminine

Is the Theme this week for the Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge. Flowers are what I think of when you say “Feminine”, don’t you? I made a few of these for a “WOW” swap I was in (San Diego OnStage) and my Stamp Club Gals want to make it in May, plus since I haven’t posted it, I can use it for this weeks challenge, win/win/win! I am so glad that the Jar of Love & the…
