Spooky Cat, Not Spooky at All!

This is another card we did in my Holiday Card Class this month. I love the cat punch, and check out the new Black Crochet Trim. This is a pretty easy card to put together. We have a Black card base, with a 2 1/2″ piece of the Spooky Night Designer Paper, (don’t forget to add your Vintage Crochet Trim) on the left and a 1 3/4″ piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock that was…

The Happy Couple & Christmas Quilt Cards

The wedding went off without a hitch. We weren’t allowed any photos at the Chapel of the Flowers where they got married, so this is at brunch after the wedding. It was a lovely ceremony, simple. You can check out the card we gave them  HERE! And I have to share these cute soaps. Nectar Bath Treats store is in the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. OMG, that store smells amazing, but not like going…

Wedding Card, a Little New, a Little Old

My Son and his fiance are getting married in Las Vegas on Saturday. This is the card I made for them. Their colors are Real Red & Very Vanilla. I added just a “splash” of red to the Gold Metalic-Edge Ribbon. I love the sentiment in the Cheers to the Year stamp set which is on page 37 of the Holiday Catalog. It pretty much sealed the deal, if you know what I mean. It…

Painted Harvest CASE (Copy & share everything)

I received the card on the right from Patty Bennett. She sends cards to all top 15 in her downline for sales. I needed one more card for my Card Class last week and thought, hmmmmm, I’m going to case Patty. I changed a couple of things, but the layout is basically the same. I loved how Patty used the “burlap” stamp, it gives the card a lot of texture without all the bulk. So…

Halloween Window Box

Isn’t this a fun box? This is one of the projects Patty brought for us to do a couple of weeks ago. We used the Foil Frenzy Specialty Paper for the box, sponged a Metallic Foil Doily black, the scallop is the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper (layering Circles Framelits) & the sentiment is from the Spooky Cat stamp set. I have to tell on myself. I totally put adhesive on all the flaps and…

Painted Harvest, Patty’s Way

Isn’t this card beautiful? This one was designed by Patty. Its got 6 layers but still a simple design. We started off with a Whisper White card base (you could use the new Thick Very Vanilla too). The flowers were stamped on Whisper White using Daffodil Delight for the first color, then Crushed Curry to add the highlights. The inside of the flowers are Early Espresso as well as the sentiment. We fussy cut the…

Painted Harvest Fall Card

I really love how this card turned out. I’ve seen several takes on this technique. I LOVE the Painted Harvest Stamp Set. What better way to show it off than with the word FALL, using the Large Letter Dies. I originally did the one of the left. When Patty and I got together a while back we made this card and I totally forgot the top two layers. They both work, but really like the…

Climbing Orchid Card

I know what you are thinking…….there are a LOT of stamps and dies in this set. It can be very intimidating, yes it can, but once you play with it, you will see how all the pieces go together. And when you pair this set with the Jar of Love, you have a great card. Thank you Patty Bennett! We started off with a Berry Burst card base and a piece of Whisper White cardstock…

Carols of Christmas Ornaments

When Patty and I got together a few weeks ago, we decided that we were going to use ALL the stamps in the Carols of Christmas set. I think these was our last card for the day. We needed to use those adorable ornaments. I said what if we used the the branch from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits to hang the ornaments from? Yes, and then draw the “strings” with a black marker. So we…

A Few Things…..

First off, I want to thank everyone who came to my New Catalog Launch Party. I think everyone had a good time. A lot of retired product was given away, (BOGO). Yeah! I had two simple make n takes, in fact, one didn’t even have any stamping……no one seemed to mind. My Granddaughter Gianna, was my assistant. I gave her one of my older Big Shots, along with a rolling tote that had all kinds…
