I don’t know about you, but I love to give gift cards. They are always the right color, size, etc. Nothing to return and the recipient can choose whatever they want. Win/Win!
This gift card couldn’t be easier. I’m using the Classic Christmas dsp and the Curvy Christmas stamp set to emboss the sentiment.
For mine I used the largest Celebration Label Die. Note that this won’t fit into a standard Medium envelope. The next die down will fit perfectly, but I didn’t think about that when I was making them. Die cut two of the largest die. Score one of them about a 1/2″ above the notch. Fold over. You will now stamp the sentiment with Versamark Ink, and Black Embossing Powder, heat set.
Use Tombow Liquid Glue to glue close to the edge and just above the notch. Set the scored label die on top and line up to make sure the edges are lined up.
We don’t have any Shaded Spruce Ribbon, so I made my own. I used the Whisper White Metallic-Edge Ribbon and Dark Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blend. Use the brush tip and start adding color. It will bleed to the back. Let dry for a couple of minutes. Once dry wrap around and tie into a bow.
Die cut a couple of the sprigs in Shaded Spruce and use a Glue Dot to attach just under the bow.
How simple was that? All you have left to do is add your gift card.
