Cup of Christmas

This is one of the cards I designed for Patty and I to do when she came over to stamp. We had a list of the stamp sets we wanted to use and this was on the list. The Let It Snow Specialty DSP goes perfect with this bundle.

Cup of Christmas Bundle, Let it Snow DSP, Puff Paint, Heat Tool, Big Shot

Start with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ Real Read Cardstock, scored at 5 1/2″.  Next layer a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of the Let It Snow Specialty DSP. This paper is super cute. Now comes the fun part……Die cut a Real Red and a Pool Party cup from the matching Cup of Cheers Dies. Also die cut the bows and the sprig. Use a post it note to block off the main part of the cup and use a sponge to make the handle darker than the cup. Then switch the post it notes to the handle and stamp the snowflakes from the Snowman Season Stamp Set all over.

Attach both cups with dimensionals, add the sprig to the Pool Party Cup and the bows to each cup handle. Use your Puff Paint (page 19 of the Holiday Catalog) to make the “whip cream”. Shake the paint well and add a little to your card, then heat with the Heat Tool. You can always go back and add more. The Puff Paint is on the watery side. Make sure your Heat Tool is warmed up and don’t get too close or you will burn it. Do that to both cups.

Lastly add the sentiment from the Free Skate stamp set in Real Red Ink and flag the left side.  I added a few Toile Tidings Glitter Enamel Dots.Supply List:
