Day of Service Cards

Did you participate in Sara Douglass’ Day of Service today? I did. So fun to see Sara and her family making cards together.

How many cards will you be making and sending out? Leave me a comment and I will randomly pick someone to receive a packet of 6 x 6 dsp. You have until Saturday at midnight to leave a comment.

You can purchase the Share Sunshine PDF download here: https://covid19.stampinup.com

You can download the instruction sheet: US Letter:

I love how Sara had just 4 steps in making cards simple. Make sure you download the instruction sheet on how to cut a 12 x 12 piece of dsp. Stampin’ Up! gave all their employees a kit so they could make cards and postage to mail out 5 cards.  How amazing is that? These cards have NO STAMPING, all the sentiments are from the Covid-19 Give Back. They have raised $200,000 to help with this horrible pandemic.  When making your cards, you can use any dsp or card bases you want, any accessories that you have. I decided to use up some dsp and ribbon that are retiring. I used a few punches to punch out the sentiments.

I made 7 cards in about an hour. I can’t wait to try this with some of the new products.

  1. Hi Cindee,
Great idea to send cards for kindness. Found your blog and I enjoy your card making ideas. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.

  2. Is this where I leave a comment to enter the dsp drawing? Anyway, I am going to make and send 6 cards. This is a great challenge to participate in! It is so much fun to go to your mailbox and find a happy mail surprise, especially for older people. Thanks! Tina
