Forever Blossoms Congratulations Card & Congrats Card

This is the card that I made for Patty’s 2 Million in Career Sales. Its the first time I’ve used the Forever Blossoms Bundle. And the first time I’ve tried Vellum with the Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder. I’m in LOVE! Really I think you can use any kind of paper and get beautiful results with this embossing folder.

The card base is 4 1/4″ x 11″ Calypso Corral Cardstock, scored at 5 1/2″. The Vellum is 4″ x 5 1/4″ embossed with the Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder. I attached the Vellum with Snail in the center where the label was going and added a Glue Dot in each corner. Yes, you can see it if you’re looking for it…….

I stamped the flowers and leaves with Saddle Brown Stazon Ink onto Water Color Paper, and used my Wink of Stella along with ink from the Old Olive, Petal Pink, Calypso Corral & Cajun Craze stamp pads. Next die cut with the matching Cherry Blossoms Dies.  The Old Olive piece is from the Painted Labels Dies. I added the label and flowers with Dimensionals.

Forever Blossom, Peaceful Moments, Painted Labels Dies, Vellum, Parisian Flourish EB Folder, Wink of Stella,

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. I know I’ve used this set a million times, it just has the best sentiments and font. I fussy cut around the letters and popped up with Mini Dimensionals. I usually don’t like when I cut around a word, but this time it turned out ok. Didn’t want anything that was too big to take away from the card.

For the inside I used the largest label in the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and added the leaves that I had already colored and die cut.

I added a Champagne Rhinestone to the center of each flower and a few on the label.

This is the card I made for all the people that didn’t send a card but contributed to the Brighton Gift Card. I made this card BIG. Took a 8 1/2″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″. I stamped the small flower from Tags in Bloom new SAB item you can earn with a $100 order. Do you see the big flower and leaves? That is some new Sale-a-bration Specialty DSP that you can earn for FREE with a $50, starting March 3rd. Its called Flowering Foils and is so beautiful. I fussy cut the flower out of the dsp and colored it using a Sponge Dauber and Poppy Parade Ink for the flower and Mossy Meadow for the leaves.

I started with a Large Rectangle Die that was embossed with the Parisian Flourish Embossing Folder on Copper Paper. The Whisper White Rectangle is from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies as well as the center piece. I really wished I had heat embossed the sentiments with Copper Embossing Powder, but I had it all put together before I realized I should have embossed it.
