I totally forgot to share these little gifties I made for my team. I found these 2 piece Chocolates at my local Target (.85 cents) about a month ago. (my Target didn’t have any the last time I went).
I turned this into:
These cute treat holders.
I tied ribbon, around the box with Classic Weave Ribbon on the left, and Cherry Cobbler Diagonal Stripe Ribbon on the right. Then die cut several of the Beautiful Boughs dies in Garden Green & Mossy Meadow. I also die cut the pine cones. Early Espresso for the full pine cone, and Crumb Cake for the top one, glued together using Tombow Liquid Glue.
Then I got out my Snowfall Accents Puff Paint and added “snow” to the ends of the boughs and top of the pine cones. Pretty cool, right? Its like magic when it starts to puff. I have a couple of tips: Make sure you shake up the puff paint really good. Heat up your Heat Tool before you start. The Puff Paint comes out runny, and will move around if you get your Heat Tool too close. Remember you can always add another layer, but if you put too much on, you can’t take it away.
I used Glue Dots to adhere the Boughs and Dimensionals for the Pine Cones. It was that easy!
And look what I found in my local Safeway yesterday. Snowman Ghirardelli Chocolates. WooHoo! I’ll be showing these babies decorated soon. You might be wondering; who am I going to give them to? Well, that waitress who served you well, the bank teller, grocery store clerk, friends, neighbors. I’m sure there are more people that you would like to give a little something to. And don’t forget the UPS man who brings your Stampin’ Up! products.Supply List:
