Gingham Gala DSP Meets Daisy Punch Thank You Cards

I’ve seen several takes on these Daisy Cards. This is mine. I’m gonna be sad when we can’t get this paper any longer….

I started with a Thick Whisper White card base cut at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. The next layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″. I used Grapefruit Grove, Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight & Highland Heather cardstock. The next layer is 3 3/4″ x 5″. I cut two strips of the Gingham Gala DSP, 3 /4″ x 3 1/2″ & 3/4″ x 2 3/4″. Punch out two Daisies in the same color. Adhere each strip and stamped the flourish from the Needle & Thread stamp set in the matching Ink. Stamp Thank you with Memento Ink on the bottom strip.

You can actually get 5 daisies from one 6 x 6 piece of the Gingham Gala DSP. See below on how I did the Daisies. I also added a small bow to each flower using the Organdy Ribbon from Sale-a-bration. Got to use it up! Hard to see in the photos, but I punched a flower from the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack and put it under the Organdy Bow. I die cut the leaves from the Wonderful Floral Framelits (no longer available, but you could use any leaves you already have) in Lemon Lime Twist and sponged them. I tucked each one under the flower with a Glue Dot.

I’m really excited that there will be a small Daisy Punch in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.
