Gourd Goodness

What a fun name for a stamp set. I originally bought this set because of the beautiful leaves, but look at these gorgeous pumpkins. Its a two step stamp with both pumpkins. At first when I stamped the solid image, I thought, you really don’t need the 2nd stamp…….boy was I wrong. It totally makes the pumpkin “pop”. Then I “winked” it with Wink of Stella. The stems each have two stamps too. I am going to be using this set a lot. Just warning you…..LOL

This card is for my entry to the Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge, Autumn Colors. You can play along too: http://suochallenges.com/

I did fussy cut the pumpkins, but its super easy, you can do it! I know many of you don’t like to fussy cut, but sometimes you just need to. I started off with half of a Gold Foil Snowflake, added a piece of our Burlap Ribbon, then wrapped the Old Olive 1/8″ ribbon around twice and tied in a bow. From there, I put Dimensionals on the pumpkins and tucked in the “leaves” with Glue Dots. They are from the Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits, this is an awesome set too, it has a matching Stamp Set, Pick a Pumpkin. To finish off the card I added one of the wooden leaves from the Touches of Nature Elements, I even “winked” it.

I used the 1 3/8″ & 1 1/2″ Circle Punches for the sentiment. Stamped off the leaf (in Sahara Sand) and stamped the sentiment in Cajun Craze.

Thank goodness for all of you! You guys keep me going.
