Happy Birthday, Fun Fold Card

My Stamp Club gals made this card last week. I am trying out new fun folds, to change things up a bit. Although this might look hard, it really isn’t. The middle piece tucks right into the ovals at the bottom, so clever. Wish I had thought of it…..lol

You will need:

4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ Blackberry Bliss & also a scrap

4″ x 5 1/4″ Whisper White & also a scrap

2 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Whisper White to die cut 2 of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies

2- 3″ x 4″ of the Peaceful Poppies dsp, scored at 1″ (see below for where to score)

See my mini tutorial on how to get the points on the finished card.

You will want to color the flower with Stampin’ Blends BEFORE you attach to the point. Once you attach at the top (ONLY) you will want to add a second die to the inside so you won’t be able to see where your Blends bled through to the back.

You can see in this photo that I have sandwiched the two die cuts.

I needed a small sentiment and I used the Sale-a-bration set, The Gangs All Meer (its the set that has the Meer Cats). The sentiment says: Happy Birthday to a Stand up Friend. I used my Black Stampin’ Write Marker to ink up just the happy birthday and stamped on a Whisper White Oval, added that to a Blackberry Bliss Scalloped Oval. You need to position the Dimensionals at the bottom of the sentiments so you can tuck in the die with the flower stamped on it.Supply List:
