Happy Birthday Wreath

Did you know that Sara Douglass (CEO of Stampin’ Up!) does a Facebook Live every Tuesday at 1pm (pacific). Three weeks ago she talked about the Ornamental Envelopes Bundle. She pointed out that those envelope dies (the ones you put in the inside of the envelope), are for every envelope we carry. 3 x 3, 3 1/2 x 5 (note cards), 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I did not realize that. And what about those branch like images? If you stamp it 3 times, you have a wreath, WHAT? So I couldn’t wait to try that out.

I stamped the branch 3 times in Early Espresso and then stamped again 3 times offsetting the stamp. Then I stamped the dots stamp randomly, in Pretty Peacock.  I decided to just stamp the dots and not try and line everything up.

Now you can emboss the card front with the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder. Now you can sponge the edges with Crumb Cake Ink with a Sponge or Sponge Dauber.
Ornamental Envelopes, Brick & Mortar EB Folder, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Linen Thread, Wonderful Gems,

Next you will stamp the flowers in Pretty Peacock onto Crumb Cake cardstock and die cut them with the matching dies. The sentiment comes from the Timeless Tulip stamp set, but you can use which ever stamp you have. The sentiment is attached with Dimensionals and the flowers are tucked under (use a Glue Dot to attach), just a little bit. I added a double Linen Thread Bow with Glue Dots and a few Wonderful Gems.

The first photo shows what I did to the envelope. I first die cut the envelope flap and attached the Magic in the Night dsp to the inside. So I have to thank Sara for sharing the Ornamental Envelopes bundle with us.
