Heirloom Dies & 3D Embossing Folders

These Dies and Embossing Folders are so awesome! This is the first time Stampin’ Up! has combined the two. I have to say I wasn’t a fan of the Woven Threads DSP. In fact, I told myself, I don’t even need to buy it. That lasted for 2 seconds when I made a card with Patty using this paper. While I’m not crazy for the whole package, I think I can make it work. This piece is my favorite.

I started with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ Seaside Spray cardstock, scored at 5 1/2″.  The designer paper is, 4″ x 5 1/4″.

When you die cut your frame, you will get three pieces. The frame itself, the inside piece and the outer frame, so you could use each piece on a different card. But the tip I have for you today, (thank you very much Patty Bennett), is that inside piece? Adhere it to the inside of your Embossing Folder. Now when you add your die cut piece to emboss it, it will go exactly where you need it to go. No more guessing or trying to line it up.

I sponged a little Terracotta Tile Ink on the embossed oval frame and attached with Dimensionals. Stamp the smaller Daisy from the Daisy Lane stamp set and punch each of them out with the Medium Daisy Punch. Get 10% off when you purchase the bundle. Each daisy has two punched images, use your Bone Folder to curl the ends, then stack them and offset the petals,  I colored the Silver Faceted Gems with Dark Seaside Stampin’ Blends. Make sure you color them BEFORE you add them to your Daisies, and let them dry for a minute. I added the Daisies to the oval frame with Glue Dots. The leaves are from the Wild Rose Dies, in Mossy Meadow. I tucked them under the Daisies with a Glue Dot.

I stamped the sentiment in Terracotta Tie and flagged the left end. Add a glue dot to the right side and tuck it under the frame like in the first photo.  DONE!
