I so wished I liked coffee. I love the smell of coffee or walking into Starbucks, but I don’t like to drink it….. So the challenge for the SUO Challenge is Something Sweet. Is a Pumpkin Pie Latte Sweet? I’m thinking it is. I wanted to use a stamp set in the Holiday Catalog, So Merry Cafe it is.
Plus I got to use my New Stampin’ Blends, and a fun fold all in one! The Crumb Cake Card base is 4 1/4″ x 9″ scored at 3 1/2″. I saw on Pinterest where someone embossed a doily and really wanted to try it, so I thought, why not? You can see how I did it in my mini tutorial. I did go back and emboss the center of the doily, as the coffee cup wasn’t big enough to cover it. I also embossed the Corrugated Elements, heart. The Doily need something to make it more sturdy, which is why I used the 2″ Circle Punch to put in the center.
I used Pumpkin Pie for the cup and only the light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends, for the whip cream. I also used the color lifter to blend the Smoky Slate at little and finished off the whip cream with Wink of Stella. It really lighted up once it dried.
