I was so excited to receive in my order yesterday the new Embossing Pasts, Tools, & Masks, I couldn’t wait to use them. So here is my first card. The Embossing Paste really adds texture to your card.
I’ve got a couple of tips for you. The paste dries pretty fast, so make sure you clean up your Masks and Tools when you are done. Just run them under water and rub off any left over paste. Use Washi Tape to secure your Mask. You can see I didn’t even emboss the whole Whisper White piece. Kind of went from right top corner, to left bottom corner. Lift off the mask carefully and let dry. Once dry, I sponged on a little Daffodil Delight Ink with a sponge.
To stamp the leaves, punch the Lemon Builder Punch with a piece of scrap cardstock, then lay your leaves label side up,where they should be punched, take your clear block and lay it on the stamps. Now you can stamp both leaves at the same time and punch them out perfect. We’ve done this with all of our “Builder” punches. Also, you aren’t guessing which way the leaves are going on the punch.
You can really see the Embossed area now. On the inside of the card it says, CHUCK THEM RIGHT BACK. I love all the sayings in this set, and to think I wasn’t going to get it…..really. This is one of the sets I got FREE with my Sale-a-bration rewards. Thank you Stampin’ Up! My color palette is Daffodil Delight & Pear Pizzazz.
