Lindt Treats for OnStage

I know I was teasing everyone while I was making these treats for me to take to Portland for OnStage. I almost forgot to share. But the wait it over.

I used the Snowman Season Stamp Set along with the Stitched Stars Dies. The snowman was stamped with Black Memento Ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends. I will list them in my supply list below. I also cut a Stitched Star from the Mercury Acetate, Real Red & Coastal Cabana cardstock. Layer one of the cardstock stars with one of the Mercury stars. I used Glue Dots to attach and you couldn’t see them through the acetate. I punched a hole through both layers on the tip. I used a retired hand held 1/4″ punch.

After coloring the snowman, fussy cut & attach a couple of Dimensionals to the back and add to your star.

Stamp the sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings in Real Red Ink and flag the end. Punch a whole in the candy, at the top of each star, and also a hole in the left side of the greeting and run the Baker’s Twine through the greeting, the star & the candy and tie into a bow.

I purchased this candy on Amazon:

I did a quick tutorial on how I dyed the White Baker’s Twine. You don’t have to use a button container, but it was something with a lid and it worked out perfectly for me. I needed something with a lid because you just never know who might knock it over…..I’m thinking Haley, my orange kitty. She likes to get a fresh drink of water in my craft room and is up on my counters. Even though she can get water at 3 different bowls in our house……such a spoiled little girl! LOL
