Lovely Flowers Edgelits, Happy Valentines Card

The Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies are stunning and Valentine’s Day is right around the corner.

You can see that it cuts the right edge and embosses the left edge. The first time I used it, I thought it was a bad die. Then I looked at it closer and realized that it embosses too.

This is one of the cards that Patty Bennett designed for our play date last month. My Stamp Club gals made this last night. Its really a pretty simple card to make, the dies do all the work.

Your card base is 4 1/2″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″ Lovely Lipstick Cardstock. You will add a 2″ x 4″ piece of the All My Love DSP to the TOP right edge. (the fold is on the left side). Die cut a piece of Whisper White at, 4″ x 5″ with the long flower edgelit. Use the Big Shot Die Brush to get most of the little pieces out. You will need to be patient and go slow so you don’t rip the flowers. I pulled ever so gently a little at a time. Use the edge die with a 2 1/2″ x 4″ piece of Lovely Lipstick. It will just cut the outline. Adhere both the pieces together so they match up. Then adhere this piece to the FRONT of the card. Add your All My Love Ribbon, and a couple of Heart Epoxy Droplets colored with Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blend.  You can get these droplets FREE from me when you place a $50 order (before shipping & tax) in my Online Store using the Host Code: GQFNYBGQ. Or click on any of the highlighted words or in my Supply List below.

Here is what we did for the inside of our card. The heart stamp is from the Meant To Be Stamp Set. It also has matching Framelits.

Thanks Patty for such a lovely card.
