I am quickly falling in love with the Positive Thoughts stamp set and the matching dies, Nature’s Thoughts. You can see the card I did yesterday using these products.
For this card, I’ve kept it monochromatic. Whisper White and Crumb Cake.
Start with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock, scored at 5 1/2″. Stamp the sentiment from Peaceful Moments in Crumb Cake Ink at the bottom. Set this aside.
Stamp the butterfly and flower in Crumb Cake Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. Die cut with the matching Nature’s Thought’s dies. The large White panel is also part of the die set, you will to die cut that too. You will first stamp the branch 3 times WITHOUT reinking on the Whisper White panel. Then emboss it with the Script 3D Embossing Folder, rough up the edges and sponge with Crumb Cake Ink. You will need a mat 3″ x 4 1/2″ in Crumb Cake, rough up the edges and sponge. Once you have those two pieces adhered together, you will tie the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon around and into a bow. Now add Dimensionals to the back and add to your card base.
Add the stamped butterfly and flower with Dimensionals. To finish off, add some Gold Metallic Pearls. Its the perfect touch.
Its really a pretty simple but elegant card, don’t you think? The stamp set is available right now. The Nature’s Thoughts Dies will be available on Feb. 4th. They are part of the Coordination Product Release. Remember these dies and dsp are while supplies last, so if you want them, don’t wait to get them.
