The Snowflake Showcase products will be available to order on Thursday, November 1st. These exclusive products are while supplies last, so be sure to get yours quickly. I’ve used the Snow is Glistening Stamp Set, Snowfall Thinlits, Snowflake Trinkets & the White Velvet Sheets. So the only thing I DIDN’T use is the Happiness Surrounds Stamp set, (its the one on the left).
You might be wondering how I got the embossed snowflake on my card, since there are no Embossing Folders with this suite of products.
With the Big Shot Embossing Mats. You can find them on page 221 of the Annual Catalog. This is a great way to extend the use of your Framelits, Thinlits, & Edgelits.
Follow the “sandwich” below. I know what you are thinking……the die is going to cut right into the Blue Mat. Nope, I promise it won’t.
The impression you get is so beautiful.
Now, how did I color the White Velvet Sheets? Which are AMAZING without doing anything to them. Re-inker & Water. Wet the snowflakes, and dip the end of the snowflake into your re-inker and water and watch it wick up the color. My Re-Inker colors are Balmy Blue & Pool Party. Another Tip: add some sparkle to the Re-Inker & water by spraying some White Frost Shimmer Paint (that is mixed with Rubbing Alcohol) into the mix. It really makes your snowflakes shimmer. I used my Aqua Painter to add the water. Then just let your snowflakes dry and add them to your card with Tombow Liquid Glue. I did use my Heat Tool to dry them a little bit. After adhering to your card, I added one of the Snowflake Trinkets with a Glue Dot & a few Metallic Pearls.Cutting Guide:
