I’m so excited to welcome my newest team member, Sheila Heinlein. Sheila has been a part of my Stamp Club for a few years now. She is going to offer classes at her church. Most of her cards will be donated to the church. Being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator will help keep her costs down because she now receives a 20% discount on all of her stampin’ supplies. Plus she will receive $72 in FREE products with the Recruiting special that is going this month.
One of the FREE items you will receive in your kit this month (should you decide to join the Stampin’ Up! family) is the Carols of Christmas Stamp Set. You can order the matching Thinlits (#144674 Card Front Thinlits Dies) in your Starter Kit. Patty and I made several different cards all using this bundle of products.
I really love how this card turned out. We saw something on Pinterest and then added our own twist. At first I wasn’t crazy about Night of Navy & Tranquil tide together……WHAT? OMG, they are perfect together don’t you think? I love the border at the top. We put Dazzling Details Glimmer Paper under the border. And then using the Embossing Paste for snow, how clever is that? I also love the Night of Navy Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. It ties into a bow so easily and doesn’t add bulk to your card.
We used our Night of Navy, Tranquil Tide & Black markers for the sentiment, then die cut it will the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The largest Circle fit perfect. The trees were die cut in Tranquil Tide and sponged, then we added the Embossing Paste and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. So sparkly! You know those new Mini Dimensionals that are in the new catalog? They work great for the top of the tree where a regular dimensional would be too big.
Here are the products I used for this project, just click on the photos and it will take you to my Online Store:
