Oh Christmas Tree

Hello Everyone,

It’s time for the November 3-D Blog Hop! We were formerly the 3-D Tutorial Blog Hop but decided to make the transition to a 3-D Blog Hop. This enables us to offer you 3-D project and instructions directly on our blogs each month. This month we are featuring 3-D Christmas projects for you so be sure to “hop along” to see the creative projects designed for you to use this holiday season!

I’ve got this cute little Tree Treat Box. Its super easy to make.

Pine Woods Dies, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Jingle Bells, Wonderful Gems, All the Trimmings, Real Red Braided Trim, Real Red Sheer Ribbon, Wonder of the Season Ribbon Pack,

Start off with a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock, 3 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 3 3/4″ and turn and score again at 3 3/4″. Now score 1/2″ between the first score lines, flip and score again. Cut up to the score lines on each side like shown in the photo.  Now find the center at the top and bottom and put a little mark. You will now score from that mark to where you cut. Do the same thing on the bottom and other side. It should look like the photo on the right.

Flip it over and add Seal+ or Tear & Tape at the top all the way across. and on the two tabs. Fold your box together, without sticking down the top, add your candy, Hershey Kisses fit perfectly inside. Now close the top, and tie your bow. This one I used the Real Red Sheer Ribbon.

Add Seal+ or Tear & Tape all the way around the box and add your ribbon and tie into a bow. Its that easy!

Almost forgot the trunk. Take a piece of Early Espresso cardstock, 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″, score 3/4″ all the way around. Cut up to score lines and cut off each corner. Add adhesive and glue into a box. The bottom of the box will go over the ribbon (that you wrapped all the way around your box).

For this one I used the Shaded Spruce Argyle Satin Ribbon from the Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo Pack.

I added a tree from the Pine Woods Dies and used Tombow Liquid Adhesive. The star is from the All the Trimmings Embellishments and then some Wonderful Gems to finish off.

I used this bow maker to make my bows. I used the Sheer Ribbon and the Braided Trim. I added 3 Jingle Bells with Linen Thread to the box and attached with a couple of Glue Dots.

Hope you enjoyed my Tree Box. Don’t forget to hop along and see everyone’s project. Special thanks to Deb Valner. Found this on Pinterest.
