One in a Melon, Paper Pumpkin Alternative Blog Hop

I am excited to be part of the Paper Pumpkin Alternative Blog Hop again this month. The One in a Melon kit is one of my favorites.

This is what I came up with. I will tell you, it was hard for me to cut apart one of the bags, but worth it for this card.

Here is how I made the “watermelon” slice. Easy Peasy with your Layering Circles. Its important to add the tissue paper to cardstock so it has some stability before you die cut.Cutting Guide:

4 1/4″ x 11″ Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock, scored at 5 1/2″

4″ x 5 3/8″ Emerald Green Cardstock

3 7/8″ x 5 1/4″ Paper from the gift bag in the kit

3″ x 4″ cut from the card in the kit

I used the other side of the card to stamp & punch the sentiment.

Don’t forget to “hop” on over and check out all the other cool ideas for this kit, Andrea is next.

I had to talk myself into cutting the bag. But then it was for the good of the Blog Hop, right? LOL! Thank you Kimberly!
