This event put on by Stampin’ Up! is usually in person, but with Covid19 still around, all events have to be virtually. It was still a great event, but I really missed seeing everyone. The new January-June Mini Catalog is AMAZING! Once again Stampin’ Up! has upped their game. We were able to order the Dragonfly Garden Bundle before the event so we could do this make n takes. Aren’t they gorgeous?
All the card bases were 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow and Misty Moonlight. This card has two strips of dsp cut at, 1″ x 4″. The dragon fly was punched out of the dsp and added with Mini Dimensionals.
You can see how easy the punch lines up with the Dragonflies on the dsp, even the little one. I used a Sticky Note as my “handle” to punch out the small dragonfly.
There is a strip of dsp 1″ x 4″ that goes from side to side. Notice where the two red arrows are there are 2 strips of dsp, 1 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ strips. Both are on Dimensionals. Then there is a piece of Bumble Bee cardstock cut at 2″ x 2 3/4″ that fits perfectly over the two strips. I love this and will be trying it out again.
Now here is another interesting card front. First add the 2 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ of Bumble Bee Cardstock about 1/4″ away from the right side. Now add the 2/3″ x 3 3/4″ pieces of dsp. Then add the Whisper White piece, 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ (stamp first) then add it.
Donna (from the Home Office) designed these cards for our make n take on Friday. Many thanks Donna!
