SUO, “Focus on Masculine”

Time for another Stampin’ Up! Challenge. You know how hard “man” cards are for me……But I had this idea in my head about making the pen have a wood looking barrel. Look what I came up with. I also haven’t played with this new paper, Wood Textures. Its perfect for “man” cards. This is a 6″ x 6″ Paper Stack available on June 1st, along with the Crafting Forever stamp set. I told you I…

A Note For You

I’m using lots of new goodies today. Wood Words, for the dots and sentiment, Daisy Delight for the Daisy, the scalloped edge is from the  Seasonal Layers Thinlits, and then two of our new In Colors, Fresh Fig & Lemon Lime Twist. I started off stamping the dots in both the Fresh Fig & Lemon Lime Twist. Then added my Scalloped piece, with a small piece of a lace Doily. I also added a small…

Anniversary Card, Crafting Forever

When we first saw the new In Colors, I wasn’t that crazy about Lemon Lime Twist. It reminded me of some dishes my parents had that my sister and I hated, and they wouldn’t break……But now I LOVE Lemon Lime Twist. Look how fantastic it looks with Berry Burst! This is for one of my Downline who celebrates her 8 year Anniversary. I wasn’t going to post it yet and then decided to. Happy Anniversary…

Sunflower Using Eastern Medallions Thinlits

I’m blending some of the new with the old today. The first layer on my card is using the Petal Burst Embossing Folder. I decided I wanted to use the debossed side. Then I added some of our new  Crushed Curry 3/8″ Mini Chevron Ribbon. The sentiment from the Eastern Beauty Stamp Set has this great greeting, to think of you is to smile. I used my 1 3/4″ & 2″ Circle Punches to punch…

Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers, You’ll Want them

Have you tried the Stickers in the Eastern Palace Bundle yet? They aren’t your normal “sticker” much nicer, and like the dies they nest inside each other, so you get more bang for your buck. Two sheets of 2 different designs.  I stuck my sticker to some Dapper Denim Cardstock and then die cut them with the matching dies. This is a pretty simple card, but with the gold makes it a really nice card,…
