You Warm My Heart

Yes they do! My Club Gals really keep me going. I love that I get to see them at least once a month.

Please tell me why I have not used the Frosted Foliage Bundle until now? These thank you cards were super easy to put together. I used all the dies in the Frosted Frames Dies, and the Feels Like Frost dsp. I love the way each card is different depending on how I laid the dies on the dsp.  I used two different papers in the Feels Like Frost dsp.

Frosted Foliage Bundle, Feels Like Frost dsp, Noble Peacock, Big Shot

Start off with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ of Highland Heather cardstock, scored at 4 1/4″.

Next stamp the snowflakes from the Frosted Foliage Stamp Set in Highland Heather across like I did below.  I know it doesn’t show too much after you add the frame, but I felt it needed a little something.

Now die cut all the pieces in the die set except the Whisper White Piece with the Feels Like Frost dsp. These are intricate dies and found that I needed to go back and forth 2 times for the paper to pop out of the die. Die cut the label with Whisper White cardstock and stamp whatever sentiment you want. You have three to choose from in this set.  Snail the sentiment down on your frame and then add Dimensionals to the back and attach it to your card.  Add the other pieces however you want. To finish it off I added a few of the Noble Peacock Rhinestones.

Hope my club gals like their cards.

Harvest Hello, Welcome to the Team Card

I sent this card along with the Clip board to my newest team member. She joined at end of August and I forgot to share her little gift. This is the card I made for her and the tag that went on the clip board.  The clip board opened up and had a note pad inside. I found this in the Target $3 section. It was perfect for Cheryl as she is a kindergarten teacher.

Start with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Cherry Cobbler card base. The black layer is 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″.  The last layer is 3 3/4″ x 5″ Whisper White cardstock.

I stamped the apple and seeds from Harvest Hellos in Black Memento Ink and colored the apple with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends. The sentiment comes from the stamp set, Workshop Words. It was a stamp set for Demos only. You could add any sentiment you want, thank you, birthday, get well, etc. I also stamped the apple slice and colored with Stampin’ Blends, and adhered with a couple of Dimensionals.

Harvest Hellos Bundle, Black Scalloped Edge Ribbon, Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Stamping Blends

Because this card base is dark, I like to add a piece of Whisper White to the inside. I stamped the apple slice and the seeds.

I thought this card matched the clip board pretty good.  For the tag, stamp 6 apples in Cherry Cobbler, fold in half, (right sides together) and adhere with Tombow Liquid Glue. This glue gives you a little wiggle room to get the apples matched up properly. Once you have all the apples glued together, punch another apple and glue your other apples to this one.

Now that your apples are ready, cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock, 2″ x 4 1/2″ and punch one end with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Now you can stamp your sentiment at the top and the seeds at the bottom and adhere your apples. The punch punches a hole at the top. Use some Whisper White Baker’s Twine to tie to your Black Scalloped Edge Ribbon.

Don’t forget to add a stem and leaves before you glue it to your tag. The Apple Builder Punch has both of those items in the punch.

Thanks Cheryl for joining my team!

Gather Together Bundle Meets Harvest Hellos

When I saw this card design on Pinterest by Cindy Schuster I knew I wanted to make my version of Cindy’s card.  I changed the colors and the dsp, but the basic design is the same. These two bundles are my favorite fall bundles in the Holiday Catalog.

Start off with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ Pretty Peacock card base and add a 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of the Come to Gather dsp. Cindy used a gingham banner. Next stamp your pumpkins in Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie & Pretty Peacock. Also stamp the large leaves in Old Olive and die cut. The smaller leaves are from the Gather together bundle and they emboss and die cut at the same time, SCORE! I crumpled all the leaves and sponged the edges.  Punch 3 stems in Early Espresso and add to each pumpkin. Did you know that for a pumpkin, the larger part of the stem is on the bottom? (I did not know this).

What I really loved about this card is how the pumpkins and leaves were placed. To pop up the pumpkins I only added 2 dimensionals on the bottom. What this does is allow you to tuck the leaves under the pumpkins with a couple of Glue Dots. Once all the leaves were put in place, I added some of the curly pieces. Just cut a sliver and wrap around a skewer, add a drop of Tombow Glue on your pumpkins by the stem and hold in place for a few seconds.

I stamped the sentiment from Gather Together in Early Espresso Ink onto the Come To Gather dsp. Don’t forget the inside of your card, especially if your card base is dark. I added a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Whisper White and stamped the larger leaf in Old Olive. You can see it in the photo above.Supply List:
