Thank you cards

For my Christmas thank you’s I used Upsy Daisy stamp set. Pacific Point is the card base and ribbon. I inked up the stamp in Baja Breeze and then used a dauber with Pacific Point to color in the tips of the flowers. I really like this technique with this stamp set. The possibilities are endless. Stamped Thanks so much from Sincere Salutations in Pacific Point and punched out with the Window Word Punch, sponged the edges (of course). Simple but impressive, don’t you think?

Peppermint Patty Boxes

I saw these little boxes on Impressions by Rochelle’s blog, and thought they would be really cute for Valentine’s Day. I used the Candy Lane DSP and stamp set. The top is punched out with the 1 3/8″ square punch and a piece of acetate goes in its place.  The Peppermint Patty’s have a scallop on each side and stamped on the top and layered. I did use the smallest heart on the new heart punch as well. These are simple to make and don’t take a lot of c/s or DSP. A good way to use up your scraps. You can check out Rochelle’s blog for the  details. Sorry for the blurry photos, still on a learning curve with my new camera.
