Ghirardelli Chocolate Holder

Here is another way to share your Ghirardelli squares. I bet you can’t guess which die I used to make these holders. My cyber friend Kay shared this with me. Wouldn’t this be nice to give a little something to someone who waited on you at the bank, grocery store or at a restaurant? They only take a couple of minutes to make and you can decorate them a lot, or just a little. On the top one I used Real Red for the base and added a bit of Sending Love Speciality paper (page 13 in the mini), added a embossed heart (embosslit, Page 15 in the mini) in Pretty in Pink, and added the Happy Valentine’s from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and punched out with the Window Word Punch. The second one is cut from Kraft card stock and stamped the flowers in Vintage Vogue (my favorite set in the mini on page 26) using Soft Suede and sponged all the edges too. I stamped the two hearts from, I (Heart) Hearts, (page 14 in the mini) in Soft Suede & Pretty in Pink and cut them out and layered them. I forgot to add that I used the new Scallop Trim Border (SAB catalog) along the top before I adhered the side pieces.

Another Birthday Pop-Up Cake!

Here is the other cake I promised yesterday. Yesterday was a crazy day for me and I didn’t get a chance to post. I used basically the products that I used on my previous post with the exception of the colors. Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie cardstock and that yummy dsp, Sweat Pea. Did you know that you get, 2 each of 24-double sided designs, all 12 x 12. You can see the other paper choices on page 33 of the Occasions Mini catalog. It sells for $24.95, which is .52 per sheet of double sided paper. If you’ve never tried Stampin’ Up’s! Designer Series paper, you need to! The quality of our dsp is above and beyond what you will find elsewhere.

Pop Up Birthday Cake!

Here is a Pop Up Cake Birthday card I made using the Sweat Pea Designer Series paper, Beautiful Wings Embosslit & Beautiful Butterflies die. After I die cut the large butterflies I ran them through the Big Shot using our new Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder. You can find all of these products in the Occasions Mini Catalog. I also used the Scallop Trim Border you can get for FREE in the Sale-a-bration catalog when you place a $50 order. ( now thru March 31st). The sentiment is also a SAB set that you can get for free. Before I attached the cake, I embossed with White Embossing powder the Medallion stamp. It makes it look like a doily, don’t you think? Click on the photos to see them better. Tomorrow I will show you the Turquoise cake I made. Oh, that really doesn’t sound good, does it? Just know you won’t have to eat it!
