Gift Card Holder

Here is a gift card holder made using the Petal Card die. Mine are cut out with Bordering Blue card Stock and one is embossed with the Serene Snowflakes stamp set in the Holiday mini. The bottom half is run through your paper crimper so it fits inside the top one. I used my Circle Scissors Plus to cut the Whisper White circle. Added a cute little tag and used the Small & Large Tag punches. Attached with a small piece of our silver cording (in the holiday mini). This was a fast and easy gift card holder.

Hershey Rudolf

I saw these cute Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer candy bars on a couple of different blogs and knew I had to try them. So easy to make from a regular size candy bar. I used Chocolate Chip card stock to wrap the candy bar.

Scallop circle (1/2 of one) in Close to Cocoa
1 3/4″ circle punch Close to Cocoa for nose
1 1/4″ Real Red for nose
3/4″ White & Chocolate Chip for eyes
The antlers are from 12″ pipe cleaners that I purchased at Wal-mart. The ribbon is 3/4″ polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon. You can’t see in the photo, but I added a tag from the Christmas Punch stamp set (hostess, level 2). These were really fun to put together. Great extra gift for someone. And of course I sponged on everything…….

Another Abundant Hope Card

As promised, here is another card using Abundant Hope, from the Occasions Mini that will be out on January 5th. This time I used Pale Plum for my card base, (can’t remember the last time I used this color.) The ribbon is Rich Razzleberry grosgrain. Again I used the heart border punch on Shimmery card stock and also the new butterfly embosslit. That die is fast becoming one of my favorites. You can hardly see it in the photo, but I also used the hearts corner punch. It matches the heart boarder punch.
