Here are two more projects we did at the Stamp-a-rama. The first one is the dress card. We used the Pink Flamingo Designer Series Paper. This flower reminds me of the flower in the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set. We also used a silk flower from the Pretties Kit and brad. The Eyelet edge punch finishes it off.
I made this frame for my Son and His Girlfriend. I bought the wood frame from Michael’s, everything else is Stampin’ Up! except the acrylic paint, I already had that. I decided to take the water colored flowers up a notch. After I water colored them, I cut them out and molded them with a skewer and used Crystal Effects to add the shine. (Wait until you see my roses). Decided they needed the Corduroy Brads for the centers. The Flower from Fifth Avenue Floral was stamped in Versamark and embossed with white embossing power, and then water colored. If you look at the close up of the frame you will see some raised images. All the directions to do this can be found on Poppy Paperie’s blog. For the raised part I used Doodle This stamp set. Perfect for this effect. This was so fun to do. Of course I wait until its raining here in sunny California to water color and then wait for them to dry and then add the Crystal Effects and wait again for them to dry. But it was so worth the wait. Make sure you click on the photos.
Here are the next 2 cards we did. On the Thank You card we used the window sheets in the Occasions Mini Catalog, with designer papers under the window sheet. The flowers were sponged (my favorite technique) and a Corduroy brad added in the middle. The corduroy brad is the only thing holding the window sheet to the designer paper. The base of the card is Kiwi Kiss.
