Patty Bennett had these cute card dresses on her blog and I knew I had to try them as well. I used the new DSP in the mini, Walk in the Park. The dress is actually the large scallop Sizzix die. You just cute the sides. Patty has directions on her blog. I thought these would make cute Mother’s Day cards. Simple and cute, my kinda cards.
Okay, I finally got my first Pop Up card finished. The photos are of my newest grand-baby, Anthony. I started out with a piece of textured Kiwi Kiss c/s cut at 6 1/2 by 12 and scored in the middle. You have to have the 6 1/2″ width or the ball hangs over the edge of the card. The ball itself is cut from Baja Breeze Textured c/s. On the front I used the new set Choo Choo in the Occasions Mini catalog along with the train tracks wheel. I tried to make it look like Anthony’s name was the smoke coming out of the train. On the top of the ball I put all of Anthony’s vital statistics. You can click on the photos to see it better.
