Tart & Tangy Accordian Card

I found this card on dawnstampingthoughts.typepad.com. I love the way the inside of this card was done. You start with 2 pieces of Whisper White c/s that are cut at 5 1/2 x 5 1/4 and a piece of Designer paper at 5 x 5 1/2. I used the Summer Picnic Designer Paper and the Tart & Tangy stamp set.  You score the DSP at 1 1/2, 2 1/2 & 3 1/2 on the 5″ side. Your DSP should look like a M after scoring. Put adhesive on each end of the DSP and put your Whisper White on the inside of the “M”. Then do the same on the other side. So the DSP should be on the outside of each of the Whisper White. The oranges were cut in half and then I used the 1 1/4 circle punch to cut the Old Olive c/s. I did cut the orange slices by hand and glued them to the Old Olive and then used the punch to cut a half of circle. I also used the Make it Count, hostess set for the sentiment.  . The 1/4 inch Old Olive Twill ribbon is on the front along with the Build A Brad.

Carousel Note Treat Holder

Isn’t this cute? So easy. You use the Carousel Notes in the Occasions Mini Catalog. I found this on Andrea Walford’s blog. Thanks Andrea!

 Score the Carousel Note on 3 sides about 1 1/2″ in and then cutting out the 2 triangles on the bottom, you then fold in the sides and then the bottom. This makes the pouch. I then added a 1 x 7″ piece of Afternoon Tea Designer Paper for the belly band and used the flower in Bloomin’ Beautiful inked in black Stazon (so the ink won’t run) and used my Aqua Pen to color in the flower with Groovy Guava, the stem with Wild Wasibi and the flower center with So Safron. The flower is stamped on Whisper White and punched with the 1 1/4″ punch, the Soft Sky is punched with the 1 3/8″ punch and the Scallop punch is Groovy Guava. I forgot to stamp the sentiment, but you would do that before you put on the belly band.  I put a tea bag in my pouch.
