Yesterday I had a wonderful group of ladies attend my Holiday Stamp a Stack. They were a delight to have. They loved my stamp room, but so do I. My DH is very good to me. He told me I need a small refrigerator in my room, yeah! So I will post a couple of the cards today. Most you can figure out, but if you need any specifics, send me an email. I have to say thanks to Dawn at Dawn’s Stamping Thoughts for my version of her Frankie card. The tree is embossed with gold and I used the new ribbon in the Holiday Mini. The last card with Jocelyn’s (my granddaughter) photo in is 12 x 3 7/8 c/s scored at 3″.
I’ve been wanting to make one of those acrylic photo albums for a while now, but SU doesn’t sell them and the ones I’ve seen are at least $14.99 each. So I was talking to a friend, (thanks Elisa) and she said that she’s made them using our Paper Holders that are found on page 195 in the catalog. I found these photos in an envelope in my craft room when I was purging. I was going to make my Uncle a little album from the photos of my niece’s high school graduation and our time together, last year. I know, I do have the best intentions, just don’t always follow through with them.
Checkout the box I just made with the Bigz Scallop Envelope Die. I found this on Fireflies and Flutterbyes blog, (thanks to my Sister). I ended up using adhesive to hold down the envelope flaps, she didn’t adhere her flaps. This was so simple. You use 4 envelopes and adhere the side flaps together.
