I received the card on the right from Patty Bennett. She sends cards to all top 15 in her downline for sales. I needed one more card for my Card Class last week and thought, hmmmmm, I’m going to case Patty. I changed a couple of things, but the layout is basically the same. I loved how Patty used the “burlap” stamp, it gives the card a lot of texture without all the bulk.
So I turned my card so the fold is at the top. Added the Burlap Stamp in Crumb Cake, and 2 strips of the Painted Autumn Designer Series paper. For my Sunflower I used Crushed Curry for the 1st stamp, and Cajun Craze, stamped off for the next layer. Crumb Cake was used for the center. I think Patty used Daffodil Delight & Pumpkin Pie for her card. After stamping the flower I punched it out with our new Starburst Punch. The Crushed Curry mat is from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. Used the Layering Ovals Framelits for the sentiment, I can’t remember which stamp set it came from…….old brain.
5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Crushed Curry Cardstock, scored at 4 1/4″
3 3/4″ of Very Vanilla Cardstock
1 1/2″ x 5″ & 3/4″ x 5 Painted Harvest Designer Series Paper
Scraps of Very Vanilla cardstock for the flower and sentimet
Scraps of Crushed Curry for each of the mats
Have you Cased anyone lately? Pinterest is my BEST friend. At least it gives me a jumping off point if I’m stuck. Thank you Patty for this awesome card!
