Peaceful Pines Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge

It’s that time again! Pocket Cards are the theme this time. So I decided to do a Cris   Cross Card. I haven’t done one of these cards in a long time. You need 2 pieces of 4 1/4″ x 11 pieces of Thick Whisper White Cardstock, score each one at 5 1/2″. You will cut each piece from the fold down to the outer corner, so you will cut one piece on the left side, the other on the right side. Then add snail in the center of one of them and over lap one over the other. Make sense?

You can play along too! Check out all the other entries HERE!

I used one of the end pieces that I cut off and took 1/4″ off and used it as my pattern and cut the Vellum Trees. I used snail to adhere to each of the triangle flaps, but I only put the snail on the trees. You can do it! I did, that way the adhesive doesn’t show. Then glue each flap down at the BOTTOM only. This creates the pocket.

My insert is 3 1/2″ x 5 1/4″. I used the Curvy Corner Trio Punch on the two top corners. Added my sentiment and left the rest blank so you can sign it and write a message. I put the insert in the card and stamped in the center.
