Yes, you all are AMAZING! I am so thankful that you read my blog every day, (or at least I hope you do). Who knew that I would be a blogger? Not me. If it hadn’t been for a friend of mine, I never would have started blogging. Thanks Lynne!
Ok, now on to my Amazing card. This is another card we did in my May Card Class. This set is also on the “hit” list (ok, retirement list….). It is still available as of this post. The Stripped paper is from the Pop Of Pink Designer Series Paper. It seemed to go perfect with the Watermelon Wonder flowers (how am I ever going to survive without this color???) We also did a bit of “masking”. Now its an easy technique, even my 10 year granddaughter did it, and she did a fantastic job with all her cards.
All you do is stamp your image (flowers) onto a post it note, so you have the sticky part at the top of your image, cut it out and now all you do is put your “mask” over your flowers and stamp the leaves. Its magic…….looks like the leaves are in back of the flower. Edited to add: The sentiment comes from All Things Thanks, #143097.
We also used the Decorative Label Punch for the last time…..insert sad face. Yes this punch and many others are on that “hit” list I was taking about earlier. This sentiment fits perfectly. We finished off with some Black & White Baker’s Twine and a few of the Clear Faceted Gems that are in the new catalog. Aren’t they gorgeous? I really LOVE them. You know what? I managed to NOT use my Big Shot for this card. You know how rare that is……..
