Pleased as Punch, Birthday Card

This is for my friend Joy. Her birthday was yesterday, but a group of us are having lunch today to celebrate.

Pleased as Punch dsp, Breathtaking Bouqet, Thoughtful Blooms, Bonzana Buddies, mini Striped Ribbon, Heart Punch Pack

I’ve used so many awesome products for this Birthday Card.

Start off with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Coastal Cabana Cardstock, scored at 4 1/4″.  I used my Stamparatus to stamp the Breathtaking Bouquet background stamp in Coastal Cabana Ink. I’m so glad I used the Stamparatus as I didn’t get the whole stamp stamped. It was easy to just press the spot I missed and the whole stamp was stamped onto my card base.

Once my card base was done, I cut a strip of two hearts from the Pleased as Punch dsp. This is part of the Coordination Product Release.  It not only coordinates with the Heart Punch, but with the Umbrella Builder Punch, Tulip Builder Punch,  & the Small Blossom Punch (SAB). This paper along with the 5 sets of dies are while supplies last.

The Bermuda Bay mat is, 2 1/8″ x 5 1/4″. Adhere together and add the Bermuda Bay Mini Striped Ribbon and tie into a bow. Add snail to the back and adhere to card base. Next I punched a scallop Heart from the Heart Punch Pack in our new Sale-a-bration item, So Very Vellum Specialty dsp. This item is available on March 3rd. Its so pretty and comes in 3 colors.  I know you are probably wondering, how did I get the heart on my card without the adhesive showing? I used a Dimensional on the bottom point of the heart where I knew I would be adding the sentiment. Then I took a Glue Dot and rolled it up and placed under one of the raised dots. Now the heart is glued to the card and you can’t see it.

The sentiment comes from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set. I stamped in Bermuda Bay and die cut with one of the Rectangle Dies. To finish off the front I added one of the Small Blooms (SAB) in Bermuda Bay (sponged the edges) and a Clear Epoxy Droplet colored with Dark Mango Melody Stampin’ Blend.

Now you can’t forget the inside, right? I used the largest Stitched so Sweetly Die and stamped the flower from the Thoughtful Blooms (Free SAB item) in Bermuda Bay. Added Tear & Tape to 3 sides of the die cut and adhered to the top. A Gift card fits perfectly. Also added a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Whisper White to the bottom. Stamped the down the left side and then punched out the flower in the right upper corner. Added another Clear Epoxy Droplet.
