Pool Re-do and Delightful Day Tag and Gift

If you’ve been following me, you’ve probably seen photos of our pool that needed to be re-surfed. Sunday they did the Pebble Tek, and yesterday, they acid washed and we started filling the pool. The water went on about 11am and we turned it off about 10pm and then started again this morning about 6:30am. It will take about 42,000 gallons to fill. I hate to see what our water bill is going to be……more on this later.

Now for something pretty! I challenged my team to share a card they made with the materials I gave them at our last meeting. I cut up the Follow Your Art Dsp and gave them a quarter sheet of all the different patterns, then I die cut a whole bunch from the Arts & Crafts Dies. So they could use any current stamp set and some of the goodies I gave them.

This is what Becky made. She used the Varied Vases Stamp Set. Awesome job Becky!

Since she is the only one who shared her card, she gets the prize. Yep, a package of Pearlized Doilies and a package of the Share What You Love Pearls. Woohoo! Thanks Becky!

And of course I had to make a tag. LOL The Delightful Day Stamp set is fast becoming one of those go to stamps. Its quick, and easy and cute! You can get the bundle (and save 10%) which also comes with the Delightful Tag Punch, which I didn’t use this time.  When I first got the set, I didn’t realized that those leaves were leaves and the flowers went with the leaves….duh! They line up perfectly every time I stamp them. I also had some of the rolled roses left over from another project and used Glue Dots to attach just above the sentiment.  I tied up the cello bag with some Pear Pizzazz ribbon (which is now retired). The tag itself is one of the Stitched Nested Dies. I tied it to the bow with some Linen Thread.

I knew these flowers would come in handy for another project. You can see what I originally used them for HERE!
