Pumpkin Gifts

I had so much fun making these little pumpkins for my team. I put a Hand Sanitizer in from Bath & Body Works. I hope you aren’t getting tired of the Falling for Leaves bundle…… or Shimmer Paint. I just want to use them for every project. But soon it will be Christmas all the way and no more leaves….but I can still use the Shimmer Paint. LOL!

These pumpkins are super easy to do. Check out my tutorial below. I cut the stem free hand and then embossed with the Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder. I wish I had embossed the ovals with that die, but I had them all put together when that idea popped into my head. I used Tombow Liquid Glue to adhere the pumpkins to the “box” that holds the hand sanitizer.

Correction on the box scoring: on the 6 3/4″ side you will score at: 1 3/8″, 2 1/2″, 4 3/4″ &  5 5/8″, turn and score 1″ on the 3 1/8″.

This is what the box part looks like. You will add 3 ovals to each side, like I did above.

Here is a close up of the front. I used leaves from the Detailed Leaves Thinlits in Granny Apply Green, Vellum and sponged them all with the Bright Copper Shimmer Paint. The “tendrils” are just a slight piece of Granny Apply Green that I wrapped around a skewer. Everything was added with a Glue Dot. The double Linen Thread bow was added with a Glue Dot too.

Make sure you clean your Aqua Painter right away so you don’t ruin it.  Each hand sanitizer is put into a Clear Envelope that I folded over and tied with the Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon. The ribbon is on page 49 of the Holiday Catalog, the Clear Envelopes are in the Annual Catalog on page 193.

You could also add a candy treat instead of the hand sanitizer. They would look fabulous at your Thanksgiving table, don’t you think? Maybe with a name tag?? What do you think? I love to read your comments.
