Rooted In Nature Featuring the Handwritten Background Stamp

I can’t get enough of the Rooted in Nature bundle. We made this card at my Open House last week and also my Stamp Club. You will notice how different the treesare……..I forgot I used markers to color in the tree…….that makes a huge difference.

I used the Mossy Meadow for the top of the tree and Early Espresso for the trunk. Once you ink up your stamp, lightly spritz with water and stamp on Watercolor Paper. Let the stamp sit for a few seconds before lifting. It gives the ink time to absorb into the paper.

This is what it looks like while wet. Let dry or use your Heat Tool.

Before you adhere the Mossy Meadow layer to your card, die cut the Scallop Oval. You won’t see it as you will be putting the Handwritten Background layer over the Mossy Meadow layer. Make Sense? Its a great way to save paper. The Handwritten Layer is stamped in Crumb Cake onto Crumb Cake Cardstock and sponged. I used my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment. You never know if you need to stamp again, so much easier with the Stamparatus. I tied Linen Thread around the card twice and added a couple of leaves that were stamped in Early Espresso Ink onto Crumb Cake cardstock.
