Snowfall Thinlits Candy Treat

I made this candy treat with half of a Acetate Card Box. You can find them on page 193 of the Annual Catalog. 10 boxes for $7. I used my Grid Paper to measure and a sharpie and ruler to draw my line to cut with my scissors. Before I put together I ran the whole thing into the Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder. Its hard to see in the photo, but it adds a nice touch.

I made a 1″ belly band to wrap all around my box. First I stamped several of the snowflakes (I put several different sizes on one block) from the Snow is Glistening stamp set using Craft White Ink. Used Tear & Tape to adhere. Wrapped the 3/8″ Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon around and tied in a bow. For that long spray of snowflakes I die cut from the Champagne Foil Paper and attached with a couple Glue Dots.  The large snowflake is die cut from Whisper White cardstock. Both are from the Snowfall Thinlits (limited release through 11-30-18 or until supplies last) I attached the large snowflake with a couple of Dimensionals. For the center I stamped the For You in Coastal Cabana and the snowflakes I stamped off and then stamped. Used my 1 1/4″ & 1 3/8″ Circle Punches. I cut the mat in Champagne Foil.

Don’t you find candy that matches Stampin’ Up! colors? I thought everyone did……lol I put 2 of the regular size Ghiradelli chocolates and 2 of the mini inside with some silver shreds. I put the whole thing in a large cello bag (got on the Clearance Rack last year) and tied it up with a bow for my hostess on Saturday. I totally forgot to take a picture after I put it in the cello bag……
