This is the last card we will be making today in my All Occasions Card Class.
Southern Serenade stamp set is becoming one of my favorites in the Occasions Catalog and happy to report it DIDN’T make it to the retiring list. Woohoo! Its here for at least another year.
When you use your Stampin’ Blends to color in the flowers (Rich Razzleberry) & leaves (Old Olive) use Memento Black Ink.
The Mother’s Day sentiment is from the March Paper Pumpkin. Its the perfect stamp set to use on the Stamparatus. Its called, “hinge” stamping. Set your stamp up on the Acrylic panel, ink, stamp, move the Acrylic Panel down a notch, ink and stamp. You do that all the way down. It aligns perfectly.Thich Wi
I added the lacey stamp to the bottom inside edge of the card, in Crumb Cake, so you can also see it when the card is closed. Tip: When you color with the Stampin’ Blends, the ink bleeds to the back. That is normal, but it doesn’t look good for the inside of your card. I took another piece of Whisper White to cover up that issue. I added the Berry Burst, 3/8″ Metallic-Edge Ribbon to the top of the card. I just noticed……I didn’t “wink” my flowers. Better go and fix that before class. LOL! Can you believe that I didn’t use the Big Shot or any Dimensionals? Its a rare occasion……Cutting Guide:
4 1/4″ x 10″ Thick Whisper White cardstock, scored at 5 1/2″
4 1/8″ x 4 3/8″ Whisper White (goes on the back side of the front to cover up the bleed through from the Stampin’ Blends.)
