It’s Tuesday, so it must mean another challenge from the Stampin’ Up! Only Group. You can play along too: http://suochallenges.com/. This week the theme is Holiday Papers.
The Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper is one of my favorites. I was inspired by Wendy Cranford’s “quilt” card she made last week (I think it was last week)…and what a great way to show off the different papers. I cut 15, 1″ squares in all the papers and glued them to a piece of Whisper White cardstock. That piece was then layered onto a piece of Early Espresso cardstock. I used the Real Red 3/8″ Stitched Ribbon around that piece, and then adhered onto the Real Red card base. The sentiment comes from the Suite Seasons stamp set. Using the Layering Circles I die cut the Whisper White piece and the Red Glimmer Paper.
4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″ Real Red Cardstock
3″ x 5″ Whisper White cardstock
3 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ Early Espresso
15- 1″ squares of the Candy Cane Lane dsp
Scraps of Whisper White and Red Glimmer Paper
Easy peasy, what is your favorite Designer Paper? I hope you will join our Challenge.
